Title: New items in your forum profile Post by: Gantry on October 05, 2008, 06:31:38 pm I've added a couple of items in your forum profile:
Cult, Siege & Creativity Travel Carcassonne HiG Almanac To set it up, go to Profile, Forum Profile Information where you can choose your entries. There are still some outstanding, but I want to get some things cleared up first before I add them. Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Novelty on October 05, 2008, 06:37:53 pm The HiG Almanac isn't published by RGG...
I also think you copy/pasted the RGG 2008 to all the spin-offs. Edit: Erm... "Shrines & Heretics" and "HiG Almanac" is the same thing... Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Gantry on October 06, 2008, 04:48:42 pm Gah... hrm well it was late and... I'll have to disable this for now and get back to it later in the week, thanks for the review
Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: canada steve on December 18, 2008, 11:49:47 am Gantry how about adding Carc: New World / Mayflower ?
Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Gantry on December 18, 2008, 06:01:13 pm sure, this weekend. to be honest, i've been so busy i've lost track of what's officially released and what's not, so if anyone has any objections please let me know
Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Gantry on December 19, 2008, 03:07:06 am added
Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Novelty on December 19, 2008, 04:41:56 am I still think you should remove the HiG Almanac, Gantry. It's the same as "Shrines and Heretics" which is already there.
Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: canada steve on December 19, 2008, 10:03:18 am No the Almanac should remain as it is a purchasable item that was produced for the game.
Gantry on the profile listing the detatched games have a sub heading Carc: Hunters & Gatherers: 7th expansion (2008) As you can see 7th expansion for most of these is misleading. Should they just be release date ? Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Gantry on December 19, 2008, 10:14:15 am I noticed that was there before I made the change. I have a feeling that there is a bug in the custom profile field mod that makes descriptions carry across multiple fields, so they carried forward from whatever the 7th expansion was, onward. Will have to manually fix them up.
Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Novelty on December 19, 2008, 10:22:38 am No the Almanac should remain as it is a purchasable item that was produced for the game. Then to be consistant, GQ11 should be there as a separate entry and the Carcassonne Almanac should also be there separate from the Cathars.I would rather have the HiG Almanac removed as that is not part of the game. Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Joff on December 19, 2008, 10:23:06 am No the Almanac should remain as it is a purchasable item that was produced for the game. I agree. I would leave the Almanac. Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: canada steve on December 19, 2008, 10:29:42 am Yes GQ11 should be listed and a New seperate Cathars for the new release of it.
Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Joff on December 21, 2008, 05:37:57 am Is it possible to add a field for our BGG usernames, in the same place as YIM;MSN;ICQ;AIM contact info?
Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Scott on December 21, 2008, 05:43:14 pm I won't make any demands, but what makes sense to me is to list the things that you can buy (i.e., not the individual contents of the things you can buy).
Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Gantry on December 21, 2008, 06:52:12 pm @Joff - yes, however we are going to be doing a major forum upgrade in the new year, so I plan to leave some of these things off the table, so there are fewer conversion issues.
@Scott - can you clarify that please? Title: Re: New items in your forum profile Post by: Scott on December 21, 2008, 06:58:55 pm I'll try to clarify...
You cannot buy Shrines by itself, but you can buy CS&C, the HiG Almanac, or CK&C/GK&K which happen to contain shrine tiles. Does that make any sense? |
