Has anyone actually bought anything from Meeple People?  I'm just wondering how did you find the service if you did...

I have - Admitted as far back as last Christmas. I'm in the Uk and they were very quick and very good. Bought a sweatshirt and a mouse mat and they sent the two items along with a free meeple patch and 10% off voucher! Top job.

Although I haven't purchased anything from them directly, as an affiliate (http://www.meeplepeople.com/index.php?PARTNER=carccentral) they are always helpful and respond quickly.

I have purchased from Meeple People, but I had problems. I ordered just 30 meeples (in various colours) from them and had three 'armless' meeples in that one shipment alone (that's 10% rejects!!!). They were quick though (I'm in UK). Would I use again? Yes, but only when my other supplier closes his shop soon :)

I placed an order on Monday for 3 sets of meeples in the new colors.  Will let you know when I get them.

Well, I placed an order 2 weeks ago and am still waiting for a reply... :(  I have no idea if I should be worried or not at this stage...

I just placed an order for an orange set of meeples.

I have orange... pity there are no barns, wagons and mayors yet :(

Hmmm... do we know if they will be selling barns, wagons and mayors?

I'd also like to get the explorers with hats from New World/Mayflower in other colours for variants, of course!

Considering they didn't even have builders and pigs until the beginning of this year, I would expect barns, wagons, and mayors would be coming eventually but not necessarily soon.

I ordered from them recently: armies and armies of meeples. Particularly pink, as Christmas present for my daughter. ;)

No complaints. They were fast and the meeples were intact. In fact, I actually received a few more than I ordered. Maybe they measure by weight or something if the volume is high enough...

Novelty, I did notice something about them going on vacation the last part of September, so maybe they are still catching up on orders. I wouldn't sweat the delay just yet, although a polite inquiry might be in order to jog their memories.

I'll wait for about a month before I send them a polite inquiry... it could be post office hold-ups or whatever that's out of their control...

I just ordered 60 Meeples last week from them. When my order arrives I will post my findings.

Got my meeples today, with some extras.  All in good shape.  2 weeks to Canada.

Received my order today; very fast! Only one meeple has some small blue smudges on either side of him. No serious defects.

OK, I just checked... my order was on the 13th of September, so that's a month ago... I guess I best send them an email as I haven't got my order yet.

Novelty, I don't know if I'm disrespecting this forum rules, but I guess you should try E-Bay instead...

I think mentioning e-bay is fine by the forum rules.  And well, I have already made an order with meeple people and paid the money, so I need to make sure they send out the stuff I ordered.

I've got a notification from the post office that I need to collect a parcel from them.  I wonder why they can't send it to me.  I hope it's from meeple people...  I'll let you know how things turn out...

All of my Meeples arrived toay in perfect condition. There was even some extra meeple goodness thrown in. They receive an A+ and a Thumbs Up from me.

I finally got my meeples.  Yay!  They threw in 8 extra meeples too so I have an extra set of pink :)  I hope the girls who play carc with me won't be fighting over who uses pink!

Does anyone have the ear of the Meeple People?  I've heard rumors that they are going to have the A&M meeples in the near future.  I'm curious if that's true and when it might happen.

Yep. About two months ago, Cynthia from MeeplePeople said that they're working on getting some from the manufacturer, but she didn't know when they would be available. I mailed her whether she could send me a message when they are available :)

I'm going to be dropping them as an advertiser. They rarely answer their emails (sorta like me!) and when they do answer it always seems to be some canned response. A lot of people who were waiting for their anniversary prizes of meeple people goods are still waiting, but I can't get a straight answer out of them. I'm kind of pissed off, unlike us who are just a fan base, they are a business and one would think they'd be responsive to customers.

Did you let them know that?  We are a great resource for them.  Maybe it might light a fire under them.

Every now and then, I check the Meeple People website hoping against hope that they finally have the new meeples in the new colors.  Today the site is under construction.  Could it be?  After over two years, could they finally have what everyone has been waiting for?

What exactly have you been waiting for ? Certain colours ? Certain meeples ?

Yes, they offer meeple sets in pink, purple, brown, white, orange, and natural, but they don't have the meeples from A&M.  They've been claiming to almost have them for two years.

When I saw the site under construction, I sent them an email to ask if they were getting the new meeples.  Here is their reply.
