Title: Online list now shows colours
Post by: Gantry on September 25, 2008, 04:41:20 pm
I modified the "Users Online" (located at the bottom of the forums) to show colours based on your group.

newbies - green
jr members - maroon
full member - blue
sr member - dark goldenrod
(next level) - no one is at this level yet!

Admins & Moderators will show up as red and a lighter red, respectively.

As well, original_login (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=879)'s HiG rules are now available on the public download (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=46&Itemid=59) page. I think it's a fine addition to the site, thanks to original_login & Matt for help in translation!

Even though the gold is a nice touch - it is nearly impossible to read ;)

Well, Tobias doesn't show up as red though... I think you may have to override the founding member colour as well, Gantry.

And I second Tobias' comment that the gold is impossible to read, but a nice touch.

Yes, the gold is difficult to distinguish.

Now dark goldenrod, but no Sr. Members online right now so lemme know

As for the moderators (who may also be Sr Members), making them red is actually a fix for the badge system being partly broken.  So I removed the lighter red for moderators, and now everyone but Matt & I will have their now online colour based on post count.  This will challenge me to fix the badges, which I am tackling right now...

Update: fixed multiple badges!

Is it me or did I lose my golden colour since I received my new author badge?
