Title: Carcassonne tile images
Post by: original_login on July 03, 2008, 05:37:12 pm
Does anyone know if the images for the Carcassonne tiles are available to the public? If so, where can these files be located? I'm talking about the original high quality (well, at least not small and pixelized) images. Like something that would have been used in the tiles images in the public downloads for this site. People seem to have access to images that can be edited easily, and I want to know if such images exist.

Thanks.

I think a number of us have bits and pieces of various sets in at least half-decent quality. Perhaps everyone should send me what they have and I can put together a full tile set for all the expansions.

I discovered yesterday that the German rules .pdf from the Hans im Gluck website contains tiles images that can be extracted. I'm not positive, but I think I may be able to get high quality images from here. I'll check it out and maybe post them here if I have success.

Good news. I was able to extract tile images out of the pdf, but they are small, though maybe big enough to print a tile the same size as the original tiles.

Just do what I do, steal the scans from BoardGamesGeek.com  Some of the scans of the older expansions are horrible though...

I still like the idea of being able to extract images from the .pdf. I think the tile list .pdf from the Hans im Glueck website has larger images. Is anyone interested in getting these? (I would extract them, you would receive them.)
