Title: Carcassonne Hunters and Gathers Post by: jefriar on June 12, 2008, 11:05:53 am HELP! Solve our debate... when making a circle with 4 tiles, 1 tile a lake with 1 fish and 2 outlets (segments), the other 3 tiles just curved river, is this 5 or 6 points?
I believe it's 6: 1 point for each of the 3 tiles with the curved river, 1 point for the fish, and 2 points for each river segment coming out of that lake in two different directions. Another believes it's only 1 point for the 2 segments coming out of different sides of the lake, since they're both on the same tile. HELP! so each river segment is 1 point and the fish is 1 point. in the situation as you write it then it would be 6 points. I think this is where you have rule differences between Carcassonne (main game) and Hunters and Gathers. Where in Carcassonne you only count the tiles in a road but you count the segments in a river in Hunters. this is how I understand the rules to be but I could be wrong. You might want to take a picture of the tiles in the situation that you had and that should help with the visual.
