Carcassonne (7 Meeples) Inns & Cathedrals (1 Large Meeple) Traders & Builders (1 Builder & 1 Pig) *I know these are not "followers" as such Abbey & Mayor (1 Mayor & 1 Wagon & 1 Barn) How many should I play with? It now seems I have so many pieces to play. What about reducing the number of Standard Meeples back to 5 or 4 and playing with all the rest? Any thoughts? Paul Title: Re: How many Meeples? Bearing in mind that there was meant to be a limit to the number, I think it's probably a fair enough to lower the number. On the other hand, don't forget that the increased number is somewhat mitigated by situations which can tie up you followers, like closing off towers, or placing them in the City of Carcassonne. You can play with fewer meeples if you want, but you're allowed to use the number they give you. Just so long as you're not adding more.
Title: Re: How many Meeples? Post by: Gantry on February 01, 2008, 02:17:05 am I know for some people it seems natural to want to use all of the meeples that you possibly can, but a limited number makes games more strategic due to limited resources, and thus, more enjoyable.
