Title: Returning meeples - I forget to remove them. Are they lost forever? Post by: tomthumb on January 27, 2008, 04:09:25 pm When I complete a city and score, sometimes I forget to remove the meeple. About 10 minutes later I will realise it. Can I remove it on a later turn?

The best solution is definitely to remember to move them in the first place, so that all of a sudden you 'discover' that you still have 4 meeples left. Actually, with the Abbey and Mayor expansion, you might really get into trouble if you forget about the wagon when you score, since there you can move it to an adjacent feature. You definitely can't leave that in play and only remember to move it later… Also, such forgetfulness will likely lead to problems with the fairy ('Oh, I forgot to score my bonus points for the last two rounds—I want them now!') {no And welcome to the forums! Post by: Joff on January 28, 2008, 01:15:46 pm In a similar way, when we play we make it the responsibility of the owner of the followers to watch out for their own points. Occasionally, a meeple is left on the playing area and not scored, only to be 'discovered' a bit later on. We allow the player to score, but it's their fault if they have lost any other scoring opportunity that they might have had if they possesd that follower earlier.
