Title: Where to buy blank tiles
Post by: StefanoG on February 22, 2012, 09:48:03 am
Hello,

do you know where to buy blank tiles? HIG website has cundco shop where you can buy 10 sheets of 12 tiles each = 120 tiles, but they say you can set a maximum of 3 orders, not more.

Where should I go to buy an huger set of tiles, let's say 1000 :)

I would like to print all expansions I found on this marvellous website :)

Thanks

If you're looking to buy 1000 in one shot, you'll need to buy 2mm chipboard and have it cut down or cut it down yourself. If you're willing to buy in smaller quantities, you can buy several copies of the base game and work your way through printing the fan-made expansions 72 tiles at a time.

Quick question. Do your bulk blank tiles already have the back image tile on them? If so, I would be interested in a bulk order too.

I wish.. Blanks are TBD, but hopeful for late 2012... For now, just have the standard tiles printed both sides. Gets the job done the same if merely stickering expansions over top though

I didn't understand... do your 1000 tiles have the "C" logo on the back?

Or they are just tiles white on both side?

I think he meant he just has standard tiles, with the C on the back and artwork on the other side that you can put a sticker on of a fan-expansion.

I'm interested then :)

Please let me know how much it is for 1000 tiles plus shipping fee to Italy.

Thanks

Sorry but the final price is too high :(

I would pay 220 dollars in total, that means 164€ and so 0,16 € per tiles.

I have an italian shop where I can buy full 72 tile set for 0,13€ per tiles and on cundco.de I pay 0,11€ per tiles.

I would have imagined an higher discount, sorry

Ciao

I suspect the total amount he quoted you includes shipping. Keep in mind you live across the ocean from him. Shipping across the ocean is more expensive, and 1000 tiles weighs just over six pounds which increases the shipping cost again. (First Class International has a limit of four pounds.)

Yes I compared all prices with shipping included.

Also on Italian shop and cundco in Germany.

Ciao

Sorry couldn't provide a better deal. As Scott points out, shipping overseas is ridiculously expensive. Wish I had control over those prices.. I can fit about 300 tiles in a flat rate envelope, which is shy of 4 lbs and provides the best value. But anything more takes shipping costs through the roof.  :-\
