Title: Help getting started
Post by: joselillotorres on February 02, 2012, 04:14:26 pm
The first thing I want to say hello and introduce myself since I'm new to the forum and tell you that I am impressed with all your work ...
Have long had the Carcassonne (the inns and cathedrals) but in a move it out of sight and I recently found this forum and since I have no job I've encouraged to make my own game and I need your help ... Someone needs to print the original rules? Try some with photos of google but the quality was pretty bad ....
And you know where I can get the tabs for 6 players? I leave my email if anyone can help torres__luna@hotmail.com

Thank you very much for everything

I highly suggest you begin with CAR (Completely Annotated Rules) by Matthew Harper which is not completed, but should have what you are looking for.  You can download it HERE (http://carcassonnecentral.com/forum/index.php?topic=587.0).  I'm not sure what you mean by tabs, but if you are looking for meeples, I'd suggest checking out The Carcassonne Shoppe (http://www.carcassonneshoppe.com/) which is run by one of our own members.  If you can't find what you're looking for there, then try Meeple Source (http://www.meeplesource.com/index.php?PARTNER=carccentral).  Hope that helps and welcome to the forums.

Don't know if I understand you well, but if you are looking for good quality images of original tiles we will not help since printing official exps is against the law. But if you are looking for rules only then CAR is thing that you are looking since it contains official ruling and have latest updates to them. Many of rulesets included in exps have errors.

If you are are looking for the game rules:

In German language you have to look at http://www.hans-im-glueck.de/carcassonne/carcassonne-grundspiel (http://www.hans-im-glueck.de/carcassonne/carcassonne-grundspiel) and look for "Regel", also for the expansions look for "Erweiterungen" or "Mini-Erweiterungen".

In English language you can look at http://www.riograndegames.com/games.html?id=48 (http://www.riograndegames.com/games.html?id=48) for the game rules.

I don't know whether there are rules in spanish nor what publisher this might be in Spain, but you should try to look at the publisher's website too.

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/822/carcassonne (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/822/carcassonne) is a good source for everything around the carcassonne world. There you will find files for translations of the rules - with some luck it's not only Hungarian but also in Spanish ("Files").

Also take a look at the pictures: for example this http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/1179463/carcassonne (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/1179463/carcassonne) will show you how some of the basic game tiles look. Be sure to take the pictures in highest resolution. For the expansions go to the sites of the expansions and look on their pictures and files ...

The publisher's website for Spain: http://www.devir.es/index.php (http://www.devir.es/index.php)

The rules are on this site: http://www.devir.es/producto/tablero/carcassonne/index.htm (http://www.devir.es/producto/tablero/carcassonne/index.htm)
