Title: Police Precinct
Post by: Scott on January 29, 2012, 09:31:19 am
This project just recently launched on Kickstarter. It's a bit like a police equivalent to Flash Point: Fire Rescue in that it's a cooperative game where you're struggling to accomplish multiple objectives. It's a bit different in that one player is secretly a corrupt cop, so you are also trying to figure out who that is.

Of course, corrupt cop doesn't work well in a two-player game, but it would with three or more. I didn't see anything explaining the max number of players, but it looks like the game can easily scale.

I'm watching this one closely, but there does not appear to be a great deal of information at present. ALso, I'm not too supportive of the pledge tiers. I would have liked to see a tier that offered 3 or 4 copies of the game and the exclusive Madman expansion so a group can get together from this side of the pond. I doubt I'll bother if the tiers remain as they are, but I am interested.

An update was posted today announcing that they've secured the graphic artist who did Flash Point: Fire Rescue and Agents of SMERSH to do the artwork for Police Precinct.

A prototype rules document has been posted on BGG for public review.

That's good news.  It should look really good.
