Title: Die Schule Post by: joshgambit on November 14, 2011, 07:57:27 pm Since it's VERY unlikely that I'll be able to obtain a copy of this.... Anyone have a high quality scan of this?? Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: CKorfmann on November 14, 2011, 09:12:14 pm It is supposedly going to be made available next year some time.
Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: smash on November 15, 2011, 06:55:56 am It is available now from the Hans im Gluck website for individuals only (i.e. not to be sold on for profit given that the intention of this is to raise money for charity).
This will be the German version, however there is a good translation of the rules elsewhere in these forums. http://www.cundco.de/shop/?tx_dkdshop%5Bcategory%5D=1&tx_dkdshop%5Bproduct%5D=65 Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: joshgambit on November 15, 2011, 11:47:31 am Problem is that I live in the US, and their PayPal isn't working for us... :(
Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: Carcatronn on November 15, 2011, 12:10:07 pm RGG will be picking this up next year... Did you guys know the "Teacher" Meeple in the School expansion is not the same as the 10th anniversary transulucent meeple? It's slightly bigger, thicker, and has a clear front and back with color only on the side trim.

I was thinking about stickering it if not. Problem is that I live in the US, and their PayPal isn't working for us... :( It's not??? Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: Carcking on November 15, 2011, 08:37:15 pm Yeah, PayPal would not work for me on that site either. I emailed to Cundco but got no response. A little frustrated. ???
Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: Whaleyland on November 16, 2011, 03:55:41 am My sister-in-law is in Germany right now and has also had problems with it. It doesn't seem to just be a regional problem.
Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: Scott on November 28, 2011, 08:33:27 pm Received my order from Cundco today, and it looks like I accidentally ordered two copies of Die Schule and Die Kornkreise. The translucent meeples in Die Schule are green and the same size as the meeples from The Phantom expansion. The heads are slightly smaller and the arms positioned a little differently; I think that's probably an HiG vs. RGG difference rather than something unique to Die Schule. The bag that Die Schule comes in has a meeple on it, and I have one blue and one yellow. I suspect there are five or six different cloth bags.
Not sure yet if I will keep my extra copies or part with them. Might be nice to have two sets in a large game? Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: joshgambit on November 29, 2011, 07:13:28 am My order went through last week (or the week before, I don't remember). So, I'm anxiously awaiting it; I haven't received a reply saying the order has been received or that it's been shipped.... Haven't tried yet, but was planning using two schools with a purple and blue teacher too- should be fun :D Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: Sekim on November 29, 2011, 01:14:10 pm I suspect there are five or six different cloth bags. I've read somewhere that there are 4 differently coloured bags. Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: Carcatronn on November 29, 2011, 03:05:39 pm I suspect there are five or six different cloth bags. Blue, red, green, and yellow Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: Khonnor83 on November 30, 2011, 08:41:54 am Yup...four...and I got all 4 of them at Essen.
With 4 different colored teachers, just in case I wanted to use more than one school in a play. A friend of mine had a purple teacher though. Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: CKorfmann on December 03, 2011, 09:19:37 pm What was the total cost shipped to the US?
Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: joshgambit on December 04, 2011, 06:51:36 pm What was the total cost shipped to the US? It wasn't cheap. I ordered two copies of Die Schule, two copies of Crop Circles, 5 blank sheets, and 2 sticker sheets. It was right around $50.00 when all was said and done. One copy of the Die Schule and Crop Circles will be going to my church's youth pastor who is (and who's wife is) HUGE Carcassonne players. I figure it's worth it to be able to give something to someone who truly appreciates it and would never buy it... That is very generous of you! I am sure he will appreciate this very much. My old youth pastor and his wife also enjoys Carcassonne, I think you just given me a great gift idea :D Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: Scott on December 05, 2011, 02:16:25 pm I don't have the numbers in front of me, but it seems to me that I paid very little for shipping to Canada.
Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: dacfortuny on March 24, 2012, 08:59:31 am Hi! Last week I ordered two copies of "The school" and two of "The corn circles" plus other Carcassonne stuff from the Hans im Glück website (www.cundco.de/).
Just a few clarifications: The teacher meeples that I have received are not exactly the same than those of the Phantom expansion or the 10th anniversary edition (at least the Spanish edition developed by Devir). They are wider, and the purple one (I've received a yellow and a purple teacher) has a different tone. Regarding the expenses. In the Hans im Glück shop it says that orders of more than 10 euros have very high travel expenses (23.50€). I contacted them and they advise me to create two separate orders of less than 10 euros (travel expenses: 3.95 €), in order to make the travel costs decrease. I did it and it worked. I have received everything in a single envelope, but I paid 3,95 x 2 euros instead of 23.50. Just that. I'm eager to try my new expansions! ;D Title: Re: Die Schule Post by: Carcking on March 24, 2012, 09:32:42 am Hi!
