Title: Tower question Post by: alemfuse on September 03, 2011, 06:39:59 pm i have one question, maybe it's something very simplistic. You have one city just about to complete and a tower which COULD snatch a follower from that city. You then place the tile that completes the city... Which one is first: You complete the city, score the points and THEN place a follower in the tower OR you place the tile, use the tower, remove the follower and THEN you score the city? I know it could be a very simple question, but we don't understand completely the dynamics of the tower yet....
thanks Title: Re: Tower question Post by: Deatheux on September 03, 2011, 06:46:09 pm place the wood first, score after, since the tower piece counts as playing a follower, it is legal to place the tile who complete the city, using a tower piece, capture the follower and the city is completed w/o being scored(or if you have some followers un CC, you can swap from the castle to the unoccupied city.

1. Place a tile. 2. Move the wood. 3. Score. The city is completed first, but the follower is placed on the tower second which means you could capture a follower from the city before it is scored, which occurs last. |
