We have found that with Wheel of Fortune farm play is very important, not only because of the famine section on the wheel, but the wheel itself tends to create large farms. Also, the bridges help to create large farms. We've played games with WOF and BC&B where almost the entire board was one farm. There were about 20 cities on the farm and it had barns on it. Players were intent on trying to get followers entered on other farms so they could join with the large one - and barn-score all the cities. 20 points each time. It was a weird game with such a large farm. |
