Extra Pieces 5 wooden scribes (one for each color) Deploy a Follower The scribe may be deployed instead of a follower. It may only be deployed to a city in which there is currently no followers; the usual rules for deployed followers still apply. When scoring, the strength of the scribe is the same as the number of scrolls in the city. If the city has no scrolls, the scribe has a strength of zero. The score of the city is not changed by the scribe. After scoring, the scribe is returned to the player's supply.
