Title: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: joshgambit on February 09, 2011, 07:38:36 am Anyone have, or know where I can get tuckboxes for Bridges, Castles & Bazaars? Also, for Die Pest? I have henrysunsets entire set, and they are fantastic. I just need those two to 'complete the circle'. Cheers! Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: joshgambit on February 11, 2011, 05:45:53 pm I was able to make these two. I don't think they're as nice, but they are okay. I've uploaded them to Boardgamegeek and if anyone wants them, just pm me. Cheers! Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: scotty13 on February 14, 2011, 06:54:30 pm Good job.

Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: Carcking on March 07, 2011, 05:15:39 am Wow! These are great.
Are there others available? Is there a central source for these? Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: joshgambit on March 07, 2011, 06:07:56 am If you go to boardgamegeek http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/822/carcassonne The tuckboxes should be under the "files" area. Or look for the name "henrysunset" Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: henrysunset on March 08, 2011, 01:42:03 am I am slowly catching up, and just released my version of the Bridges castles and bazaars; in the purple colour which matches the expansion's box. Hope to finish the others that I am missing shortly too.
Thankful to Josh for filling in the gap as I wasn't doing my job in a timely manner. link: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/64645/toms-printable-tile-tuckbox-bridges-castles-baz (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/64645/toms-printable-tile-tuckbox-bridges-castles-baz) Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: Whaleyland on March 08, 2011, 10:15:03 am Hey Tom, nice to hear from you again! You had stated a while back (a year ago?) that you were becoming frustrated with all the new Carcassonne expansions. But if you check our recent poll still going on, the Plague expansion has been off-and-on tied for third place of all expansions ever. That suggests to me that Carcassonne isn't dead yet and that there still may be hope for the future, assuming Hans im Glück doesn't go back over the deep end with The Trebuchet or something.
Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: henrysunset on March 08, 2011, 10:38:22 am I've been on a bit of a Carcassonne break, (I blame Agricola and Stone Age among others) but I just played a game of Carcassonne with my wife and sister a few days ago and really enjoyed it. Between giving the Bridges, castles and bazaars a few more tries, and seeking out the plague which as you noted has been quite popular, I am excited to breathe some fresh interest into my "big box".
I can't decide if I should wait for US availability of the plague or seek out the more costly shipping for the Spielbox edition. (decisions!) Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: Scott on March 09, 2011, 07:51:47 pm If it helps you to decide, the magazine comes in English this time. ;D
Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: Scott on March 12, 2011, 02:13:21 pm Josh, could you make me a tuckbox for the five 100/200 point tiles in Cardcassonne? If you're feeling really ambitious, maybe you can devise a tuckbox for the 5 treasure chest tiles as well, but they are oddly shaped.
Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: joshgambit on March 13, 2011, 10:50:17 am Sure, I can give it a shot! Give me a little time, but I'll see what I can do!
Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: Scott on September 17, 2011, 03:41:00 pm Finally found my cardstock and went on a mad tuckbox printing spree today. Was feeling slightly brave and managed to successfully make a tuckbox for the five scoring tiles in Cardcassonne. I've submitted it to BGG, but in the meantime I've posted it on Mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/?po8j6cp8lr6bdt1 (http://www.mediafire.com/?po8j6cp8lr6bdt1)
Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: Ulstergeki on October 20, 2011, 10:02:07 pm Would one of you care to take another request? How about tuckbox for the wheel of fortune expansion, like the two for the basic game, that would hold all of the tiles, not just the diffrent ones.
Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: joshgambit on October 25, 2011, 09:14:01 am I think I can try. I'll post here if I'm successful. Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: Amorpheus on October 25, 2011, 11:18:49 am I may be able to save you some time, although this isn't exactly what was requested. I use the "Wheel Tiles" tuckbox by BGG user henrysunset, and I adapted his design to make a tuckbox for the "Non-Wheel Tiles". I like keeping them separate to have the option of just adding the Wheel tiles to the base game.
You can download the "Non-Wheel Tiles" tuckbox here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/38027001/Tuckbox_Non-Wheel_Tiles.pdf (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/38027001/Tuckbox_Non-Wheel_Tiles.pdf) Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: Ulstergeki on October 25, 2011, 08:45:38 pm thanks Amorpheus, i will try it out and report back!
Title: Re: Carcassonne Tuckboxes Post by: GAKDragon on November 12, 2011, 07:51:08 pm Tuckboxes!!
I've uploaded the first batch of tuckboxes that I created for some of the fan-made custom expansions to my Facebook page. The album should be public, so you should all be able to access and/or download them. The link to the album is here (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2701233730308.164364.1240645145&type=1&l=842cd04749). So far, I've finished the Mountains series and the Fields series. Thanks goes to Tom for the original set of tuckboxes for the Official Expansions, as I used his layout as a guide. I also used the tuckbox generator available here (http://tuckbox.gameupdates.com/?action=RecallData&user_id=1279413067) to create the base templates. I can only upload pictures to Facebook, so the files are currently in .gif format. I have them saved in .pdf and .psd formats, so if anyone wants those instead just post here and I'll e-mail them along. Once I get my website back up and running, I'll be able to post files and possibly compressed (.zip) files. |
