Title: Article in Spielbox about fan expansions
Post by: CKorfmann on January 22, 2011, 12:00:33 am
Got my Spielbox 2010 #6 today, the one with The Plague, and there was an article in there at reviewed Wheel of Fortune, Castles, Bridges, and Bazzars, and Crop Circles.  At the end of the article, they discussed the growing population of fan-made expansions.  I thought it was interesting language they used when they said that HiG "tolerates such productions".  It goes on to state that they want to be informed of their existance and expect some sort of distiguishing mark as unofficial.  La Porxada was held up as an example.  Maybe if we're lucky, they'll "tolerate" some of ours sometime soon.

La Porxada ?

I do appreciate the company trying to control the flood

for example, on here so many ideas, and they often overlap in a sense

potentially with ideas game creators were using, but once on here, they are hard to produce by company for fear of law suits etc.
