Title: Road rules Post by: garypopkin on December 26, 2010, 07:19:30 am If the placement of a tile completes more than one road, of course all occupied roads score to their owner(s). But my 7-year-old grandson says that all unoccupied roads score to the player who placed the tile (1 point per tile involved in all the completed roads, not 1 point per section). I say that only one of the unoccupied roads can score to the player placing the tile, because only one highwayman can be placed in any one turn.

So if a tile completes more than one road, you could place a meeple on the new road piece on one of the unoccupied roads to get that score and the one you already own, but you would never score points on a road you did not "own" with a follower.
