http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/forum/index.php?topic=1117.0 (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/forum/index.php?topic=1117.0) Basically, tunnels on the tunnel tiles do not count as a finished road. Treat these pieces as if they are unfinished roads. During your turn, in addition to placing a follower, you may place one tunnel token on a tunnel. This is how you continue to build the road. Later on another turn, you may place the other tunnel token of the same color on another tunnel. This now connects the two tunnels. When the road comes to an end on each side of the tunnel, the road is scored by the number of tiles making up the road. You do not count any tiles (that the tunnel runs under) between the two tunnel tiles. So if your tunnel tiles are 20 tiles apart, you don't count those 20 tiles in your score. There is also a tile from Princess & Dragon as well I Abbey & Mayor which have tiles that show tunnels going under a city. These tiles can be treated as normal unless someone puts a tunnel token on either side of the road on one of those pieces and then it gets treated as the tunnels mentioned above. If this occurs, then the other half of the tunnel on this tile is disconnected and cannot be finished until someone adds a tunnel token to it and it's matching token on another tunnel somewhere else. Hopefully that helps at least clear things up? Title: Re: tunnels Post by: Deatheux on July 03, 2010, 02:12:01 pm thanks a lot!!
