Title: Multiple followers
Post by: Vking on August 09, 2009, 01:53:13 am
Is it possible to have two (or more) followers on one tile - of course, in different parts? Can I put my follower using Magic Gate on the tile with another follower?

As I understand by reading this forum, it is possible. But I couldn't find the direct answer neither in official rules nor in CAR...

It is possible to have more than one follower on the same tile using the magic portal as you've suggested, though not on the same feature.

However, if you are using the Count of Carcassonne, there can be several followers placed on the same feature (and I believe even on the same tile) after the feature is completed and before it is scored.  For example: if three players have followers on the cathedral in the city, then when a cloister is finished, all of those followers can be moved to that cloister along with any meeple that may already be there.  Unless, of course, the count in standing in the cathedral.

I hope you find this helpful.  Welcome to the forum!  :)

Thank you, CKorfmann!

The situation with Count was clear to me. But in this situation several followers stand at the same tile "virtually", only during scoring points. I was interesting in "real" standing...

I suggest add this note (about possibility of more than one follower on the same tile) to CAR

No problem.  I think it might be there somewhere.  It's getting to be a big document, but I'll pass your request on to Matt.
